Qualifications

• 5+ years of server administration experience.
• 5+ years of networking experience.
• Azure experience.
• VMware experience.
• VEEAM experience preferred.
• Endpoint management experience preferred.
• Linux experience preferred.
• Information security experience/exposure preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical training in related areas.
• Hybrid work environment.
• Travel up to 10-20%.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and 3 technical support for complex server, virtualization, cloud, storage, backup, and network incidents; root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Answer questions and resolve issues for clients in person, via phone, or remotely.
• Mentor Help Desk and infrastructure teams; serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Administer enterprise endpoint management, security patching, software deployment, and reporting for desktops and manufacturing-floor systems.
• Assist other IT teams with support and project matters.
• Administer Veeam backup services and coordinate off-site storage; validate recovery procedures.
• Analyze system logs and report potential issues with network and computer systems.
• Monitor and maintain UPS systems at corporate and plants.
• Create and maintain computer images and deploy to machines using Kace K2000.
• Scope computer hardware needs for plant projects.
• Design, administer, monitor, and optimize virtualized server environments and HA configurations.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response.
• Maintain enterprise networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware, storage, backup and monitoring technologies.
