Job summary

Mariner Finance seeks an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and improve data center and endpoint platforms. You will own lifecycle management, automate deployments, and drive reliability across IaaS and enterprise workstation environments.

The role requires 5+ years in systems engineering and strong skills in PowerShell, Python, AD/Group Policy, VMware, and backup technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in systems/infrastructure engineering.
Experience with virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, monitoring, and high-availability technologies.
Ability to lead initiatives and communicate technical information across teams.

Responsibilities

Design, operate, and maintain enterprise infrastructure and platforms including compute, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Engineer and maintain standardized workstation images and configurations.
Develop and deploy software packages and automated deployment processes for scalable software delivery.
Own infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, including availability, upgrades, and security alignment.
Identify and remediate technical debt and obsolete technologies; standardize or retire as needed.
Lead complex incidents; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Improve platform reliability and resiliency via monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.
Use PowerShell, Python, or automation to standardize operations and reduce manual work.
Maintain security and compliance with company controls and technical requirements.
Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation planning with partners.
Lead projects within time and budget; coordinate with teams and vendors.
