Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Staff Systems Engineer to lead our IT infrastructure team.

You will manage Windows servers, DellEMC storage, and Citrix VDI, driving projects from planning to implementation while ensuring reliability, security, and performance across the enterprise. You will mentor teammates, monitor system performance, and advocate for automation and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• 7 years of functional experience.
• 2–3 years of project management experience (mid-to-large scale projects).
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, Windows Server/Windows desktop, and PowerShell scripting.
• Storage infrastructure knowledge (Fiber Channel/SAN/Zoning).
• Network interface setup and configurations; familiarity with Visio.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and support Windows servers, DellEMC storage, and Citrix VDI environments.
• Ensure change management processes are followed.
• Monitor performance and optimize capacity; implement automations.
• Perform disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Lead projects from identification to implementation and monitoring.
• Mentor team members and communicate with client groups and management.
