Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Staff Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Reading, PA.

The role focuses on managing enterprise Windows servers, DellEMC storage, and Citrix VDI, while leading infrastructure projects and driving reliable, secure, and high-performance systems across the organization. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with project leadership, proactively monitoring systems, implementing automation, and ensuring robust

Qualifications

• Associates degree required, advanced degrees preferred.
• 7 years of functional experience.
• 2-3 years of project management (including mid-to-large scale projects).
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies, Hyper-V, Citrix desktop and application technologies.
• Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.
• PowerShell/Power CLI scripting.
• Storage Infrastructure (Fiber Channel/SAN/Zoning).
• Network interface setup and configurations.
• Microsoft Office applications (Visio).
• Preferred experience in server monitoring (LogicMonitor) and backups (Rubrik/NetWorker).

Responsabilités

• Management, maintenance, and support of Windows servers, DellEMC storage platforms, and Citrix VDI environments.
• Ensures proper change management processes are followed at all times.
• Monitor and analyze system performance and optimize utilization.
• Perform disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Implement automation of tasks using PowerShell/PowerCLI/CLI.
• Lead and manage projects from needs identification to implementation and monitoring.
• Provide project planning and follow organizational processes.
• Communicate with client groups to determine needs and provide status updates.
• Mentor and train team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
