Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Staff Software Architect to design and implement enterprise level systems and to provide technology recommendations across digital deployments.

You will help create reference architectures and roadmaps with a team of experts to deliver innovative solutions. The role requires extensive experience in modern architectures, domain-driven and event-driven patterns, and hands-on leadership across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent development experience.
• 12+ years of diverse experience in programming languages, frameworks, and enterprise design patterns.
• 2-4 years of technical project leadership experience.
• Expertise in Java, Angular, Python, Spring, Spring Boot, XML/JSON, containers, microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise level application systems and provide technology recommendations.
• Promote architecture standards and frameworks across projects.
• Create and maintain reference architectures and roadmaps for digital deployment.
• Lead development teams and guide architects to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews and vendor assessments; mentor junior staff.
