Job summary

L3Harris Integrated Vision Solutions (IVS) seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Londonderry, NH team. You will drive end-to-end development, integration, and transition to production of ruggedized sensing systems, collaborating with optical, sensor, mechanical, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing engineers.

You will lead hands-on build, verification, and performance testing, while shaping system-level specs and requirements across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering trade studies and analysis on IVS product technologies.
• Translate requirements into architectures, design concepts, and interface definitions.
• Provide systems engineering guidance across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop system-level specifications, requirements, and verification methods.
• Conduct hands-on system build, integration, and testing.
• Lead technical problem solving through prototyping and production transition.
• Support risk management, configuration management, and traceability activities.
• Collaborate with program management, operations, and manufacturing to ensure ramp and sustainment.
