Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years experience, or 2-year degree with 6 years experience; or 6 years related experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, test plans, and work instructions.
• Experience deploying new manufacturing technologies, and assisting with DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly).

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing assembly strategies for new products.
• Plan and support build/modification of mechanical and electronics systems.
• Support root cause and corrective action process.
• Provide technical support for launching new equipment.
• Participate in lean initiatives, audits and continuous improvement.
• Support divisional financial and productivity metrics and improvement goals.
• Use lean, process technology, and automation to improve manufacturing environments.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing Quality and Continuous Improvement to integrate xFMEAs and SPC.
