Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Londonderry, NH to join the Integrated Vision Solutions team. You will contribute to end-to-end development, integration, and transition to production of advanced soldier borne and platform mounted sensing systems.

You will collaborate with optical, sensor, mechanical, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing engineers to design, develop, and move products from concept to full-rate production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Working experience integrating and troubleshooting hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering trade studies and analyses on IVS product technologies.
• Translate customer and system requirements into architectures, design concepts and interface definitions.
• Provide systems engineering guidance across multidisciplinary teams (sensors, optics, mechanics, firmware, electronics).
• Develop and maintain system-level specifications, requirements, and verification methods.
• Conduct hands-on system build, integration, debugging, and performance testing.
• Lead technical problem solving through prototype development and production transition.
• Support risk management, configuration management, and requirements traceability.
• Collaborate with program management, operations, and manufacturing to ensure smooth ramp and sustainment.
