Job summary

RealmOne in Columbia, MD seeks a Systems Engineer 3 for a mission-critical enterprise IT environment. The role focuses on architecture, engineering, integration, operations, maintenance, and sustainment across multi-level systems.

Part-time position (~20 hours/month) requiring deep SE expertise and DoDAF/SOA knowledge. Candidate must have 20 years SE experience (5 years substitution for a bachelor’s), a relevant bachelor’s degree, and an active polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years' experience as an SE in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant engineering/CS field.
• Active Security Clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, ops documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities and guide users in formulating requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline teams to ensure integration and verification of systems.
