Job summary
ASEC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering expertise for NAVAIR's PMA-242 program. You will support requirements development, system integration, technical reviews, risk management, and lifecycle engineering for complex weapon systems and related capabilities.
You will work with engineering, program management, test, fleet, and industry partners to support development and integration of advanced DoD capabilities. U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience in DoD/aerospace environments.
- Experience with systems engineering processes including requirements development, integration, reviews, risk and configuration management.
Responsibilities
- Lead Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) and requirements development.
- Conduct gap analyses to deliver traceable capability requirements for weapon roadmaps.
- Guide requirements definition and integration planning for emerging DoD strike weapons.
- Coordinate with test communities, intelligence, program offices, and industry partners.
- Lead risk assessment for aircraft and system-of-systems integration.
- Interface with fleet users, sponsors, contractors, and joint service partners.
