Job summary

ASEC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support NAVAIR PMA-242, focusing on requirements development, system integration, and lifecycle engineering for advanced DoD weapon systems. You will collaborate with fleet, program management, test, and industry partners to deliver traceable, capable solutions.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and on-site work at NAS Patuxent River, MD, with a salary in the range of $170,000–$185,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
8+ years of systems engineering experience, preferably in DoD/aerospace contexts.
Experience with SE processes: requirements, integration, reviews, risk, and configuration control.

Responsibilities

Lead SETRs, requirements development, system architecture, and risk management.
Coordinate with test communities, program offices, NAVAIR, and industry partners.
Guide capability roadmapping and integration planning for weapons programs.
Support fleet and platform PMAs with technical interfaces.
