Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Florida to develop and analyze system requirements for aircraft subsystems. You will decompose high-level requirements and ensure testable allocations across design stages in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one, experience with the V-Model, and collaboration with E-2 customers and suppliers. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with required experience (see basic qualifications).
• Active DoD Secret clearance within past 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an SAP clearance.
• Experience with Systems Engineering V-Model and leading SETR events.
• Working knowledge of DOORS and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Decompose high-level requirements into system and subsystem specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers; participate in working groups.
• Obtain design requirements approval from customers.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
