Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to support development, integration, testing, fielding, and lifecycle sustainment of multiple systems. You will translate operational needs into clear, traceable requirements, manage interfaces, assess risks, and support program decisions across hardware, software, test, logistics, cybersecurity, and configuration-management teams.

This role requires in-person support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems engineering or related technical work.
• Experience managing system requirements and traceability.
• Experience with architecture, interface analysis, and integration.
• Ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Experience producing specifications, Interface Control Documents, and verification artifacts.
• Experience identifying risks and implementing mitigations.
• Strong analytical, technical-writing, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work across engineering, logistics, cybersecurity, configuration-management, and program-management organizations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational needs and develop, allocate, and maintain system requirements and traceability.
• Support system architectures, baselines, design alternatives, and trade studies.
• Develop and review Interface Control Documents and coordinate interfaces.
• Support lab and field integration activities and resolve interface issues.
• Define verification methods and support test plans and reports.
• Participate in reviews (SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR, Production readiness).
• Identify and track technical risks and dependencies and support corrective actions.
• Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals and design changes for impact on requirements and interfaces.
• Develop engineering docs, reports, and decision papers.
• Coordinate lifecycle and sustainment activities.
