Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a senior IT infrastructure professional to design, implement, and maintain secure compute environments in support of DoD programs. You will lead efforts to configure and optimize AD, MECM, WSUS, and Windows Server environments while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, an active SECRET clearance, and DoD 8570.1 IAT II compliance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years building, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft technologies and related platforms.
• Active SECRET Security clearance; IAT II per DoD 8570.1; MS certs preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with ability to substitute experience for education.
• Strong experience with AD, Windows Server 2022/2025, MECM, WSUS, Exchange, PowerShell, SharePoint, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain physical and virtual compute environments across the system life cycle.
• Provide system training, briefings, and assist in project planning and implementation.
• Develop SOPs and system documentation; review and verify security configurations against DoD requirements.
• Achieve STIG compliance and provide tier III support; mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with managers, network engineers, and customers to resolve issues; participate in special projects.
