Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. invites applications for a Principal Systems Engineer supporting the C3BM division at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. The role centers on systems engineering across the DoW lifecycle, translating requirements and developing architectures to ensure interoperability and secure ICAM solutions.

Applicants should have 20+ years of experience including 12+ years in DoW-related work, U.S. citizenship, and an active TS clearance (SCI eligibility).

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 20+ years of experience and 12+ years DoD/W-related experience.
• Extensive Systems Engineering across the acquisition lifecycle.
• DoD/USAF systems engineering experience required.
• Architecture development and mission integration experience.
• Requirements development and analysis expertise.
• ICAM knowledge and implementation experience.
• Risk assessment and mitigation planning capabilities.
• Cloud-based systems knowledge including cost/performance management.
• Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle.
• Translate operational requirements into technical requirements for MIT.
• Support architecture definition and interoperability across the DAF Battle Network.
• Review DoW architecture models and develop future-state architectures.
• Drive interoperability across PEOs, weapon systems, and partners.
• Conduct capability risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Support execution management strategies and transition requirements.
• Develop test and evaluation strategies with acquisition/test teams.
• Capture current-state and future-state architectures for campaigns.
• Engage with joint/coalition stakeholders on multi-domain architectures.
• Document ICAM requirements for the DBN environment.
• Identify ICAM solutions and gaps; draft POA&Ms.
• Prepare technical briefings, engineering docs, and acquisition artifacts.
