Job summary

Makai is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management Division at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. The role focuses on translating requirements into technical solutions and ensuring interoperability across DAF architectures.

You will work with government and contractor teams on acquisition lifecycle tasks, risk assessments, test planning, and multi-domain architecture integration to deliver resilient capabilities for the USAF and allied

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field.
3+ years of experience in the DoD sector.
Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering across the acquisition lifecycle.
Translate operational requirements into technical requirements for MIT activities.
Support architecture definition for interop across the DAF C3BM enterprise.
Assist in developing test and evaluation strategies with acquisition and test bodies.
Prepare technical briefings and engineering documentation for Government leadership.
