Solipsys, managed by Collins Aerospace, leads in advanced aerospace software for CAC2S/BC3 programs in the United States. You will guide architecture, requirements, and integration efforts, acting as a systems engineering SME while mentoring peers on complex defense projects.

The role demands DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree with extensive experience, and frequent travel to customer sites. You will work onsite with multidisciplinary teams on innovative sensor fusion and visualization

Qualifications

Experience with design and requirements derivation for software; some coaching and mentoring experience.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical lead on CAC2S or BC3 software projects.
Engage with advancements in Multi-Sensor fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies.
Perform full life cycle systems engineering tasks including system requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, IV&V.
Serve as Technical Leader of medium to large engineering development teams.
Act as systems engineering discipline SME for department, mentoring other engineers and solving critical technical problems.
Travel to customer sites as needed.
