Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Engineering team supporting development and integration of avionics, mission computers, sensors, and radar systems for DoD programs.

You will work in a cross-functional IPT to ensure requirements are defined, verified, and delivered. The role emphasizes leadership, lifecycle engineering, test planning, and collaboration with DoD customers and international partners.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• 8+ years of related engineering experience in systems, software, or hardware.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline teams and drive cross-functional tasks.
• Experience leading development, integration and test of military avionics or similarly complex systems.
• Experience with requirements development, hardware/software integration, and verification.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Knowledge of MBSE methods and SysML-based modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support development lifecycle from concept to validation and delivery.
• Lead cross-functional IPTs to meet technical requirements and schedules.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to diverse teams.
• Oversee design reviews, verification activities, and integration tests.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and DoD customers.
