Job summary

Apogee is seeking a Software Engineer to provide DevSecOps oversight and secure software guidance for government projects, including the DoD. The role supports Offutt AFB and offers a remote option with periodic travel to Offutt AFB, NE.

You will lead security integration across the SDLC, guide agile teams, and align architecture with DoD requirements while ensuring robust CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience including 5+ years supporting the DoW.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and secure development practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on design, architecture, and secure software maintained by partners.
• Govern DevSecOps implementation with automated security testing and vulnerability management.
• Advise agile teams translating government requirements into technical designs and user stories.
• Review architecture diagrams, system specs, and documentation.
