Job summary

G2 Ops, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer (Mid–Senior) in San Diego to support the PMW 770 LBUCS Receive program. You’ll lead lifecycle systems engineering and acquisition support, balancing performance, cost, schedule, and risk.

The role emphasizes requirements, design, integration, test, and maintenance, with collaboration across government customers, contractors, and engineering teams; DoD Secret Clearance is required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM field.
• 7+ years of systems engineering or related experience.
• Experience applying systems engineering across lifecycle activities.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated software/hardware systems.
• Ability to assess technical issues in relation to cost, schedule, performance.
• Experience developing technical documentation and plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering across the lifecycle from requirements to maintenance.
• Provide support for changes, actions, and acquisition activities.
• Develop and maintain system specifications and reports.
• Evaluate solutions for interoperability and mission suitability.
• Assess impacts of changes on performance, cost, schedule, risk.
• Coordinate with government customers, contractors, engineers, and program teams.
• Support baseline management and configuration control.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Communicate complex engineering information clearly to decision-makers.
• Support rollout and sustainment of resilient capabilities.
• Contribute to acquisition and engineering decisions to improve readiness.
