Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA, is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to lead a diverse SEI development team within the Global Hawk portfolio. You will guide requirements, architecture, verification, and integration across the SE V-Model for both hardware and software components.
You will coordinate with IPTs, ensure performance, risk management, and program milestones, and contribute to sustainment and technology refresh activities while interfacing with USAF
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master/PhD in STEM with 8–12 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams to meet program objectives
- Collaborate with customers and end users to validate requirements and risk
- Maintain the technical baseline and ensure cohesive system solutions
- Define roadmaps for future technology integration
- Capture stakeholder needs and translate into actionable requirements
- Develop and validate models for concept development, design, and verification
- Plan, execute schedules, and guide teams toward milestones
- Leverage experience with UAV/ground segment architectures and mission payloads
