Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA, is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for LTC Design/Architecture/Integration.
You will lead diverse teams across the Systems Engineering lifecycle, connecting requirements, design, and verification to support Global Hawk programs. The role requires 8+ years in systems engineering in STEM fields, DOORS requirements management, and an active Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
- Active US Government Secret clearance or higher.
- Experience with requirements management using DOORS.
- Experience managing technical baselines and interfaces ICDs.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering activities across requirements, design, verification, and validation.
- Capture stakeholder mission needs and translate into system requirements and architecture.
- Develop, maintain, and present system models and use cases throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinate with customers and senior management; deliver milestone reviews (SRR/SFR/PDR/CDR/FCA).
- Plan schedules, lead teams, and ensure traceability from concept to fielded system.
