Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (level 05) to serve as Technical Lead and Systems Engineering Integration Lead in Rancho Bernardo, CA, El Segundo, CA, or Palmdale, CA. This full-time, on-site role requires TS clearance and supports cross-functional engineering teams across the program.

Lead SE activities, manage requirements, verification, architecture, and cyber security; oversee CAM, risk management, and program metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD with lengthy relevant military/professional experience as stated.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance (or higher) with recent background check.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance within required time.
• Experience supporting SE milestones SRR, PDR and CDR.
• Experience leading cross functional technical teams of 10+ individuals.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to a cross-functional team of 20+ engineers for program integration.
• Lead SE efforts including requirements, verification, IFC integration, and cyber security practices.
• Ensure engineering process integrity and timely core work products.
• Act as CAM responsibilities for SEI IPT with cost and schedule management.
• Interface with Program Manager, Chief Engineer, System Architect and customer.
• Serve as technical authority for program execution.
• Plan, execute, and close program reviews and milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Manage program metrics and TPMs; report risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate between technical leads, program manager, and customer.
