Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Chief Systems Engineer in Fort Wayne, Indiana to lead concept of operation development and requirements analysis across system levels. This role requires directing requirements traceability, design trades, and system integration and test of EO/IR systems.

A TS/SCI accessible clearance and extensive space/defense experience are preferred. The position emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and program planning with opportunities to contribute to proposals and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 15 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active US Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience generating/managing requirements at various levels of the system.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements traceability and development of test plans to cover requirements.
• Execute design trades to support technical decisions.
• Lead design reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.).
• Lead integration and test of electro-optical/infrared systems and related hardware/software.
• Support/lead data analysis and modeling and simulation.
