Job summary

Apogee is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the SOF AT&L PEO-M program. The role requires extensive systems engineering and formal analyses to sustain advanced maritime and naval platforms for Naval Special Warfare operators.

Based at MacDill AFB, FL, the position is on-site with travel up to 25%. You will influence program plans, budgets, and engineering studies while ensuring compliance with IACS, ABS, and DNV GL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 10 years of systems engineering experience in acquisition programs.
• Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support government counterparts on engineering and analysis processes.
• Review engineering change proposals, waivers, deviations, and nonconforming materials.
• Apply advanced tools to document and analyze complex activities.
• Provide inputs for leadership briefings on programs and issues.
• Adjust technical support for emergencies and changing requirements.
• Collaborate with management to develop and gain approval for proposed projects.
• Evaluate programs using IACS/ABS/DNV GL standards and related guidance.
