Job summary

Blue Ridge Automation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design and implement data-driven solutions for customers. You will work on data analytics, UI/UX, and IT/OT integration across manufacturing systems.

This role reports to the Director of Factory Business Integration and projects leads, focusing on controls and software development in a manufacturing setting. The position emphasizes collaboration with customers, applying Agile practices, Ignition knowledge, and strong SQL skills to

Qualifications

Experience with data analytics and UI/UX in industrial contexts.
Strong IT/OT integration and manufacturing software knowledge.
Proficient in Agile and SCRUM practices.
Knowledge of SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Excellent communication with clients and vendors; able to document solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and optimize data analytic solutions and UI/UX for customers.
Collaborate with customers to integrate solutions that boost efficiency and compliance.
Implement and support HMI/SCADA, MES, and ERP integrations with IT/OT systems.
Leverage data relationships and analytics to improve processes.
Understand and troubleshoot mid to high-level manufacturing software.
Proactively make decisions by examining information from plant operations.
