Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a SAFe-driven, agile team focused on advanced security engineering and analytics for national security. The candidate will design, analyze, and document complex architectures, perform risk analyses, and guide system integration across multiple centers.

The role requires extensive experience with data center infrastructure, secure system engineering, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in system architecture, design and development, requirements analysis, data flow design/analysis, network design/implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Experience with data centers and server room hardware: racks, switches, routers, Firewalls, etc.
• 5+ years designing, building and integrating large complex architectures.
• Strong understanding of secure systems engineering.
• Must possess TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for system engineering of large-scale systems and interfacing components in a distributed environment.
• Support future system enhancements and design.
• Update System Engineering Documentation and AoA analyses.
• Contribute to system requirement verification and traceability.
• Collaborate with program management, system and software integration engineers, and QA in an Agile environment.
• Develop and implement rigorous system engineering practices and documentation.
