Job summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the maintenance and sustainment of complex electronic security systems supporting Federal Government programs. The position provides leadership for maintenance personnel, ensures compliance with contractual and security requirements, and manages technical operations to maintain system reliability and mission readiness.

The role is on-site in Washington, DC, requires a U.S.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum requirement).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the management and sustainment of complex electronic security systems.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the general supervision and management of personnel and technical functions.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government and DoD maintenance operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance personnel supporting electronic security systems.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Oversee system sustainment, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with Government policies, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor maintenance performance metrics and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for mission-critical security systems.

Compensation

$57,845 - $86,710. The salary range posted is for Washington, DC. The offered rate will be based on contract affordability, the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
