Job summary

Evolv Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to administer, operate, and improve core IT systems including Microsoft 365, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure. You will own backup and DR replication, manage AWS/Azure resources, and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while mentoring IT peers.

Based at Evolv HQ in Waltham, MA, this hybrid role requires 3 days on-site. The position reports to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity & Technology and offers a strong compensation

Qualifications

• Administer Microsoft 365 including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Own virtualization (Nutanix) and backup (Rubrik) infrastructure, including Windows and Linux guest VMs.
• Manage offsite/disaster recovery replication and testing.
• Operate day-to-day AWS/Azure infrastructure: EC2, S3, resource groups, cost management and budgeting.
• Provide front-line escalation support and mentoring to IT teammates; maintain runbooks and documentation.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor to internal stakeholders on day-to-day systems needs.
