Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the company’s enterprise IT infrastructure across 30+ locations. You’ll manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualized platforms, cloud environments, and automation tools to keep systems highly available and secure.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in enterprise IT, strong virtualization and cloud skills, and a hands-on leadership style to support business growth and IT modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Industry certs are preferred (MCSE, Azure Solutions Architect, VCP/VCAP, AWS/Azure).
• 5–8+ years in enterprise systems engineering and admin roles.
• Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, IAM and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across 30+ locations.
• Lead cloud migrations and hybrid cloud optimization (AWS/Azure).
• Implement security baselines, patching, and monitoring for SOC 2/NIST/ISO.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and IaC for automated deployments.
• Provide Tier 3 support and incident management for critical systems.
