Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking an IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our network infrastructure across 30+ locations, including offices and data centers. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and work with IT security teams to uphold policies and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates will have ITIL foundations, Windows Server expertise, and strong AD management skills, along with hands-on experience with SD-WAN, VPNs, and enterprise networking

Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
• Industry or vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft)
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies
• Proven experience with high availability IT systems and network reliability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory management and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network components (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, SD-WAN)
• Ensure stable connectivity across 30+ locations including offices, data centers, remote sites
• Monitor network traffic, latency, and availability with monitoring tools
• Maintain network redundancies for business continuity
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks for optimal user experience
• Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and network access controls
