Job summary

Auxiom’s Systems Engineer role supports managed services clients across designing solutions, delivering projects, keeping infrastructure healthy, and handling complex issues in a client-facing capacity. You will analyze, diagnose, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain server infrastructure and cloud applications, with a senior, solution-architect dimension shaping roadmaps and proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of helpdesk engineering or systems administration experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD.
• 5+ years of experience deploying and supporting enterprise-level environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Superior fault analysis, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate a client’s business requirements into a technical solution and explain trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for complex incidents, service requests, and changes involving servers, apps, and SaaS.
• Hands-on technical support for complex client environments within the Service Delivery team.
• Root-cause analysis and remediation reporting.
• Weekly after-hours on-call rotation for escalation support.
• Deploy new systems and applications, including servers and VMs.
• Configure backups and monitoring for server and network deployments.
• Develop proposals and roadmaps for client solutions.
• Mentor technicians and collaborate across a small team.
