SkyWater Search Partners is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for a Twin Cities engineering team. This customer-facing role takes NPD projects from quote through execution, designing custom systems around customer applications and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in systems engineering, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel 10–15%. The position offers a strong base salary, quarterly bonuses, excellent benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Associate’s Degree in Fluid Power or a related technical field of study.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in systems or projects.
• Experience with mechanical power transmission or hydraulic systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define technical project requirements with customers and build quotes for custom systems.
• Size and specify components; develop system designs, layouts, and schematics.
• Prepare bills of material, drawings, and supporting documentation.
• Configure system parameters and work with the in-house software team as needed.
• Manage a varied project load from multiple small jobs to large programs.
• Mentor junior engineers and help set day-to-day priorities.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
