Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation's ISR, Aviation, and Security business area seeks a senior Systems Engineer to apply broad expertise across requirements development, system architecture, integration, and V&V. You will support design, execution, and analysis of testing within our Systems Integration Lab, ensuring hardware, software, and interface components meet performance expectations.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage requirements across IPTs, and drive engineering plans from concept

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
• 14+ years of systems engineering experience
• Extensive leadership experience in systems engineering
• Advanced understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, allocation, systems design, integration, risk management, and V&V

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary systems engineering activities across IPTs and organizational boundaries
• Plan and coordinate systems design and requirement development from PDR through CDR and verification
• Own cross-IPT requirements integration ensuring traceability and allocation
• Drive systems engineering planning and execution with internal teams and subcontractors
• Translate program objectives into executable engineering plans and activities
• Facilitate technical reviews and integration of complex hardware and software into lab environments
