Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer III to manage advanced integration tasks across hardware and software elements for aerospace and defense systems. You will lead V&V activities, coordinate data sharing across domains, and troubleshoot complex interfaces between radios, networks, and mission computers.

The role requires strong technical writing, cross-functional collaboration, and a solid understanding of aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in systems integration or related field.
• Advanced troubleshooting across electronic, digital, RF, and networked systems.
• Experience with tactical radios and communication systems, wireless networks, and C2/sensor integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on situational awareness tools, early-warning systems, airspace management, and cross-domain data sharing.
• Support integration of multi‑TDL architectures (Link 16, JREAP, FAAD/IBCS messaging) for data interoperability.
• Assist teams with system-level troubleshooting on AMD-related C2 systems, sensors, gateways, and prototype payloads.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues involving radios, mission computers, routers, switches.
• Perform installation, configuration, testing, and validation for deployed field systems and prototype equipment.
• Translate customer mission needs into technical solutions and recommended system configurations.
• Support operator and maintainer training on system capabilities, mission workflows, and network employment techniques.
