Job summary

SCS Global Services is seeking a Systems Engineer III to lead the engineering, architecture, implementation, and support for the day-to-day operation, security, and continuous improvement of our infrastructure.

Reporting to the Sr Manager IT Operations & Security, this senior role owns strategic decisions for infrastructure systems, mentors engineers, and collaborates with managed providers to ensure availability, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure, M365, networking, and server and storage administration.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to design long-term infrastructure solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of complex infrastructure systems and Azure cloud environments.
• Own architecture and strategic direction of Active Directory, Entra ID, M365, and associated policies and controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with IT peers to resolve issues.
• Monitor infrastructure security posture, respond to incidents, and drive remediation.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
