The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Tucson, AZ location. In this exciting environment you will design, develop, and partner with multi‑disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. You will experience the Systems V engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, Chief Engineers, Chief Technologists, the customer, and many more stakeholders to ensure we design, integrate, and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfighters.
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will support missile programs as a Software‑focused Responsible Systems engineer, contributing directly to successful software requirements and integration for both fielded and development missile systems. Your responsibilities include managing system and subsystem requirements, providing systems engineering technical oversight during integration and test activities, participating in verification and validation efforts, and providing expertise in troubleshooting and failure investigations. The role requires a high level of technical proficiency in embedded software design, integration and test, multi‑disciplined coordination, and establishing relationships with the embedded software team and customer technical community.
This position is 100% on‑site at our Tucson, AZ campus with occasional travel.
Active and transferable DoD Secret clearance required prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
