Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 6 to apply senior systems engineering expertise across the full system life cycle, with emphasis on AWS, AI/ML systems, security, and data lifecycle management. You will interface with Government stakeholders and senior executives to ensure technical integrity of deliverables.

The role requires active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and broad experience across lifecycle processes, cloud platforms, and secure systems design.

Qualifications

• Experience applying systems engineering across the full life cycle.
• Experience with cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or platform engineering, especially AWS.
• Experience with AI/ML system design and implementation.
• High-level understanding of the AI lifecycle: development, training, inference, monitoring.
• Experience with ML pipeline development, model deployment, and MLOps.
• Experience with system security and networking on classified systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement phases.
• Interface with Government on technical considerations and issues.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Maintain technical integrity and quality of deliverables in ISO/IEC 15288 areas.
• Support requirements analysis, architectural design, verification, transition, and validation.
