Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 4 to apply systems engineering across the full life cycle, focusing on AWS, AI/ML systems, security, and data lifecycle management.

The role interfaces with government stakeholders and senior leaders, ensuring technical integrity and quality of deliverables across multiple ISO/IEC 15288 areas. Candidates should hold TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly, and bring strong communication, DevOps/MLOps, and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience in systems engineering across the system life cycle.
• Experience with cloud architecture, AWS, and AI/ML systems.
• Ability to communicate with Government stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with ML pipeline development and model deployment.
• Knowledge of system security on classified systems.
• Strong data lifecycle management experience.
• Excellent collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across the full lifecycle from concept to retirement.
• Interface with government regarding technical considerations and issues.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and executives.
• Maintain technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables.
• Support architectural design, verification, transition, and deployment.
• Support project and enterprise process areas including risk and configuration management.
• Assist lifecycle model management and data lifecycle management.
