Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Systems Engineer 6 to apply senior systems engineering expertise across the full system life cycle, ensuring the technical integrity and quality of work products. The role focuses on AI-focused cloud and platform engineering with emphasis on AWS, AI/ML systems, security, and data lifecycle management.

The candidate will interface with Government stakeholders, communicate with program personnel and executives, and support multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas to ensure

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience applying systems engineering principles across the full life cycle.
• Experience with cloud architecture and AI/ML systems, especially AWS.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Government stakeholders, program personnel, and senior executives.
• Experience with data lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with system security on classified systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across all life cycle phases (concept to retirement).
• Interface with Government on technical considerations and issues.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Maintain technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 areas.
• Support process areas including requirements, design, verification, transition, and operation.
• Support enterprise processes: portfolio management, infrastructure, lifecycle management, HR, and quality.
