Job summary
Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a Software Engineer for Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. This role involves supporting software engineering related to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software systems.
Applicants should have extensive experience in software integration and a TS/SCI clearance. The ideal candidate will support various tasks such as assessing contractor software deliveries and assisting in the acquisition and sustainment of weapon system software.
Qualifications
- 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's; or 7 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD.
- 12 months experience in a SAP environment within the last five years.
- Experience with assessing and auditing software configuration and control measures.
- Experience with software design, integration, test/evaluation, and certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of DoD contractor software deliveries.
- Employ Software Configuration Management process and certification.
- Review and develop software engineering relevant requirements.
- Support the software development strategy and development plan.
