Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Software Systems Engineer to join the B-1B Software team at Tinker AFB, OK. The role focuses on software systems for controls and displays, weapons delivery, navigation, and communication, delivering across the lifecycle with agile practices.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in SDLC and software development, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).
3+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test).
3+ years of experience in software development.
General experience working in an Agile software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains software systems that meet quality, safety, security and certification standards.
Translates system-level requirements into software requirements and models with traceability.
Performs software system-level analyses, identifies risks, and deploys mitigation actions.
Conducts code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards.
Monitors test completion and issue resolution for software systems.
