Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or aeronautical engineering.
• 5 years of experience in design and analysis of precision electromechanical equipment preferred.
• Experience with mechanical design/packaging and strong electrical/analytical skills.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Experience using CAD/CAE (UG NX desirable).
• Experience performing motion simulations and knowledge of motion control techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design of complex rotary servo motion assemblies for harsh environments and high-reliability military/aerospace applications.
• Establish concepts and requirements across mechanical, structural dynamics, electrical, thermal and motion domains.
• Predict system-level performance and select optimum approaches for applications.
• Lead an integrated product development team to ensure timely, successful project completion.
• Track project progress and report status to senior management.
• Interface with suppliers and customers for technical aspects of a program.
