This highly visible, customer-facing role represents the Engine Controls organization and involves collaboration with internal teams to support existing products and new development programs. The position combines remote work with onsite customer support, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience supporting requirements development, system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory and customer-facing engineering environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical point of contact for an aerospace customer in the Cincinnati, OH area.
• Provide onsite and remote engineering support, including troubleshooting engine control products in a laboratory environment.
• Assist with defining, reviewing, and clarifying system-level requirements for new development programs.
• Work across the full systems engineering lifecycle: requirements, design, integration, verification, and validation.
• Develop knowledge of engine control products across hardware, software, firmware, and test disciplines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functionality, interfaces, risks, and customer needs.
• Build relationships with the customer and become a trusted technical resource for product support and issue resolution.
• Travel periodically to customer facilities and company sites (Endicott, NY; Fort Wayne, IN) to support collaboration and issue resolution.
• Apply systems engineering processes and tools to support existing products and new development efforts.
• Prioritize activities based on changing customer needs, schedules, and priorities.
