Job summary

You will participate from concept through testing and final manufacture, with up to 20% travel between Rolls‑Royce sites and 15% elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of product development experience, or advanced degrees as listed.
• Experience with designing electronics hardware for airworthy certified systems is preferred.
• US citizenship required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Concept, design and execute electronics circuit design for control and monitoring system.
• Schematic creation and PCB layout support.
• Perform trade studies, tolerance analyses, and simulations to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct worst-case circuit calculations and FMEA analysis.
• Develop electrical hardware from lab testing to deployment and certification.
• Document functional descriptions and test results for certifying authorities.
