Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise application delivery platforms across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on load balancing, ingress solutions, and secure, scalable infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience, strong F5 BIG-IP expertise, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, NGINX, and automation tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of F5 BIG-IP technologies including LTM, ASM/Advanced WAF, SSL/TLS, Global Traffic Management, iRules, and high availability architectures.
• F5 CTS cert.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise load balancing and application ingress solutions.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, NGINX, container networking, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Advanced Linux administration experience (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred).
• Experience automating infrastructure using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, PKI, reverse proxies, and certificate management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Design infrastructure to support mission-critical payment systems for global enterprise customers.
