Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced F5 Support Administrator to configure, maintain, and optimize F5 BIG-IP environments for high availability and security across critical applications. This hybrid Atlanta-based role involves virtual servers, iRules, SSL offloading, and collaboration with multiple teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years with F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM, strong troubleshooting, and knowledge of security best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM environments.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Virtual Servers, Pools, Health Monitors, SSL Certificates, Profiles, and iRules.
• 3+ years of network and application delivery troubleshooting experience.
• Experience performing and analyzing packet captures.
• Strong understanding of load balancing concepts and application traffic management.
• Knowledge of security best practices, SSL offloading, and enterprise infrastructure support.

• Perform routine audits, cleanup, and optimization of F5 configurations.
• Execute software upgrades, patches, and hotfix implementations.
• Support Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies and policies.

Overview

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $111000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
