GENERAL DUTIES:

• Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Azure AD.
• Implement and maintain security policies and configurations in Azure AD.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure AD and M365 services.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for Azure AD and M365.
• Set up workstations with computer and network connectivity.
• Audit systems, assess results, and remediate for security, performance, and compliance.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Develop, standardize, and implement processes to support network architecture and system infrastructure.
• Monitor all systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot inefficiencies and errors.
• Oversee all IT work on computer systems.
• Supervise other staff members.
• Work with managers to determine system needs.
• Train junior supporting staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Security+ (or comparable)
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or 13 years of IT/Cybersecurity experience as a substitute.
• Network+ (or comparable) or other IT systems-based certification.
• Knowledge:
• Managing user accounts, groups, permissions, and security policies.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Developing and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Auditing systems for security, performance, and compliance.
• Skills:
• Azure AD administration (User/Group/Role management)
• Desktop and Server OS Administration
• IP Addressing/IP Management
• LAN (VLAN, Port Security, Basic routing, etc...)
• System security hardening (DISA STIG or comparable)
• System/Network Architecture/Design
• Using AI-based tools (ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, etc...)
• Troubleshooting and remediating Azure AD and M365 issues
• Ensuring system compliance with policies and standards
• Working with managers and training junior staff
• Monitoring systems for proper operation
• Supervising and guiding staff
