Responsibilities
- Support Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities activities for LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars
- Develop requirements, algorithms, concepts of operations, and system interfaces
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation
- Test systems in simulated and real-world environments
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging
- Collaborate across functions to improve performance and resolve system issues
- Develop and execute models for system-performance prediction and verification and validation
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality and impact
- Work with and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results
- Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
- Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers
- Travel up to 20% to support missions at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience
- Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- Current Secret security clearance required on day 1
- U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools preferred
- Experience with model-based engineering preferred
- Experience developing and managing requirements preferred
- Experience developing scripts and functions with MATLAB preferred
- Experience with C++, Python, or similar preferred
- Experience generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports preferred
- Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or field supporting integration and/or verification preferred
- Experience evaluating systems using simulated environments preferred
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers preferred
