Systems Engineer - Hybrid - Irving, TX

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid: Tue–Thu onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Role Overview

Seeking a senior Systems Engineer with 10+ years of experience to support customer‑facing order management and monitoring systems. This role focuses on ensuring end‑to‑end order flow integrity, proactive monitoring, automation, and performance optimization across CXP‑based systems in a B2B customer delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed CXP systems supporting order workflows
• Ensure order journey continuity within SLAs; proactively detect failures and raise alerts
• Build automated processes and reports for critical order lifecycle milestones
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with development teams to implement fixes
• Perform triaging of system and workflow issues to ensure minimal disruption
• Maintain system security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Develop and maintain scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of operational support systems

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, monitoring, or production support roles
• Strong experience in customer‑facing environments, preferably B2B customer delivery
• Deep expertise in order management and order workflow systems (digital or local order flows)
• Hands‑on experience with CXP systems (CJCM, DBS, DMD or similar)
• Proficiency in monitoring and reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Pega
• Experience building automated reports and monitoring dashboards
• Solid understanding of Oracle backend systems
• Strong data analytics skills for performance tracking and issue identification
• Experience in scripting and automation to reduce manual intervention
